Two stories in one book Woo Hoo Gotta say I read the first story Her Un Valenine last night and I could not stop thinking of Kincaid Today I read the second story The February 14th Secret Whoa Normally these kinds of stories were predictable but this book kept me on edge I didn t know what was going to happen next

summary Deadly Valentine

Justine Davis Õ 8 free read review ´ eBook, ePUB or Kindle PDF Õ Justine Davis Deadly Valentine summary ↠ 108 Her Un Valentine by Justine DavisWhen she's kidnapped Taylor Burke is shocked to see her new coworker Angus Kincaid holding the gun She later kisses him just to aggravate his partner and is even shocked tha. The stories were short which I expected but I wish they had been longer because I didn t believe that the characters in either story had enough interaction and time to like each other Both stories seemed fairly original to me and I liked that I really liked the Un Valentine day card in the first story that was a nice twist in the bitter but not perspective on the holiday I m not a fan of Valentine s day for many of the reasons mentioned in the first story So I liked that the heroine isn t into the holiday The second story made me uncomfortable Not because he s a soldier or because he s been tortured but because the story for me perpetuates the stereotype of terrorist as muslim which continues to reinforce discrimination against muslims and anyone perceived as muslim It s why I hate the sheikh based romances as well It s exoticizing the ethnic with played out yet updated stereotypes Words like savage and primal are used to describe the hero and it pisses me off With that said the character of Khan is minor on the whole in terms of plot and if the specificity of his character was removed and developed into a vague terrorist character I would have been able to enjoy the story I m sure people will think that I m overreacting but subtle prejudice is still prejudice
